I am available for tutoring and homeschooling support for Primary aged students, or anyone needing learning and support to bring about an outcome of success.
I provide a safe, caring and supportive learning environment focusing on effort as much as achievement, because when a student feels confident in themselves, they are more willing to ‘have-a-go’ and discover what they can really achieve.
I have been a teacher for 28 years, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Education, Early Childhood Education degree, with experience spanning the ages of 4 to 12 year olds.
I am a proficient teacher of all subject areas and have strengths in English, having been trained as a Literacy Specialist for the Primary Years.
In addition, having experience in teaching in the early years of education, I have a solid understanding of the basis of skill development. Knowing where to start teaching skills means I am able to identify missing elements of learning and ‘fill the gaps’ to bring proficiency in all subject areas.
I am also a parent myself.
I can teach one-on-one or group sessions, depending on your needs, and I am able to travel to you or hold sessions at my home in Yangebup, in the Southern Suburbs of Perth, Western Australia.
I offer sessions at $1.00 per minute.
